On Windows or Mac you have more options than on a phone: a plain browser download, a download manager for speed and resuming, and a desktop player for any format. Here is how to download TeraBox videos on PC without installing the TeraBox desktop app.
Method 1: Download Straight From Your Browser
- Copy the TeraBox share link.
- Open tera-downloader.com in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
- Paste the link and wait for the file list to appear.
- Click Download next to a file. It is saved to your Downloads folder.
Method 2: Use a Download Manager for Speed and Resume
For very large files, a download manager can split the transfer into several connections and resume it if your connection drops. Use the direct link generator, copy the link it gives you and paste it into the tool of your choice:
- Internet Download Manager (IDM) — Add URL, paste the link, Start.
- JDownloader — copy the link and it appears in the LinkGrabber.
- aria2 — a command-line downloader:
aria2c -x 8 -s 8 "PASTE_DIRECT_LINK_HERE"Generated links can expire after a while, so paste them into your download manager right away rather than saving them for later.
Downloading Folders and ZIP Files
When a TeraBox share is a folder, open it in the file list and download the files you want one by one. Archives such as ZIP, RAR and 7Z download like any other file — extract them afterwards with 7-Zip (Windows) or The Unarchiver (Mac).
Playing the Video
Windows Media Player and QuickTime do not support every format. VLC plays almost everything, including MKV and HEVC files. If you only want to watch, skip the download and use the TeraBox Player Online instead.
